Cathal has recently starred in the first installment of a cinema campaign for RTE's children's channel "The Den" and he will soon be appearing in the role of "Barry Dillon" in the feature film '32A' starring Aidan Quinn. He has also performed in leading roles in 2 school plays. He has appeared in the t.v. program "About The House" and an advertisement for R.T.E. He has also performed on numerous occasions with the school choir. He is a relaxed and confident performer.

His first play, called "CCC - Cracking Composer Cocktail Convention" was a play for radio. Cathal played a leading role as the Italian composer, Rossini. The play was recorded in December 2003 and reached the final of an RTE competition for audio plays.

Cathal most recently played the leading role as the young James Joyce in a school production entitled "James Joyce - A Hundred Blooming Years" which played to an audience of 500 people.
