BIOGRAPHY:
Marnie is 16 years old attends Ashton
School Cork and has been acting and singing since since the age of
four. She has played roles such as Gretle in The Sound of Music, Annie
in Annie, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, the Spirit of Wind in the Cork
Opera House Pantomime,Sleeping Beauty and was in Cork's first ever
staging of Les Miserables in the Opera House.She has since been in many
more stage productions both musical and drama. She has studied musical
theatre and dance with the Performers Academy in Cork. She also is a
member of County Wexford Youth Theatre and has done much devised and
controversial work with them. Working on plays by writers such as Caryl
Churchil and Irvine Welsh. She has a very strong singing
voice and was a finalist in RTE's 'Star Search' in 2007 and
came second in the Cork County Wide Teen Idol Competition. She most
recently played Mimi in Irelands first professional production of RENT.
This was on in both Wexford and Cork Opera House. Marnie has
work-shopped in RADA, Pineapple Dance Studio’s and the Gaeity School of
Acting Dublin.
