BIOGRAPHY:
At the age of 6, Max played “Scrooge” in a school
production of ‘A Christmas Carol’. Since then,
he has constantly been involved with drama and
played main roles in numerous stage productions
throughout primary and secondary school including
the lead role of “Lloyd George” in ‘The Treaty’
against the backdrop of the 1922 Irish
Independence. He has attended drama classes
for the last 11 years and has played many different
roles in productions which have been performed in
the Players Theatre, Trinity College. Most
notably, he played “Scrooge” (again!), “The Devil”
in ‘Sean, The Fool, the Devil and the Cats’ by Ted
Hughes, and “James” in “James and the Giant Peach”.
Christmas 2007 he played “Coleman” in a production
of ‘The Lonesome West’ by Martin McDonagh to great
applause! May 2008 he was in a production of “The
Chrysalids” by John Wyndham. Christmas 2008 he
played in “The Breakfast Club”, and May 2009 he
performed the part of “John Tate” in a production of
“Deoxyribonucleic Acid” by Dennis Kelly. Max had the
role of Oberon in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer’s Night
Dream”, May 2010. He had the role of Claudius in
Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”, performed in January
2011. At present Max is rehearsing for a one
act play for college, called “Scuba Lessons”, to be
performed in December 2011.
SKILLS:
Max is a huge sports fan and plays rugby, tennis,
football, badminton
and is a good swimmer. He also likes to cook.
